Scope and Responsibilities:
A
Microsoft Solutions Principal Consultant will join the RCM Technologies*
Enterprise Integration Solutions practice to develop and deliver solutions for
customers in the Microsoft space. This is a full time, senior level position
with RCM and will be a key part of the continued success and growth of
this top-level Microsoft partner organization based in Troy, MI. Some travel
will be expected.
Technology skill for candidates includes deep software engineering expertise in
general, and specific hands on experience in one or more areas of .NET
Development, C# Development, Visual Basic .NET, ASP.Net, XML, IIS, SQL 2005,
Windows Workflow Foundation (WF), SQL Server Service Broker, WCF Reliable
Messaging, Client Server Environments or with other current Microsoft
technology products such as SharePoint/MOSS, SharePoint Portal Server, Content
Management Server, Microsoft BizTalk Server or Business Intelligence is highly
desired. Experience in related or competitive technologies will also be
considered. As important, the consultant will blend the skills of a
senior-level technical expert and mid-level administrative person, with a focus
on the successful delivery of consulting services, business development, and
mentoring/administrative responsibilities for a team of assigned consultants at
varying levels. The PC will possess exceptional people skills and situational
judgment and excellent communication skills in working with clients and fellow
employees. An intuitive knowledge of abilities and boundaries, and creating and
adjusting the rules based on a wealth of experience also lead to this
consultant’s appropriate performance in ad-hoc situations. A strong customer
focus along with the passion to learn and *push the edge of technology limits*
is imperative.
Duties:
*
Technical/Management: Lead development or delivery teams for complex projects
and act as a lead consultant on teams or individual projects
* Pre-Sales Activities: Collaboration in creation of appropriate solutions,
responding to RFPs and in developing SOW, preparation and/or delivery of
demonstrations for winning project-based work
* Project Management: Use current and applicable project management tools,
communicate with clients, RCM management and project teams, timely
reporting to all parties
* Administration: Approve time, expenses, time off requests and documentation;
personnel management of team members
* Mentoring: Foster a positive attitude for the team and overall organization
* Leadership: Exhibit mature consulting skills, build confidence with clients
and staff
Requirements:
* Bachelor’s Degree or higher
* 5 to 7 years team or project leadership experience in the consulting space;
proven success in the areas of responsibility listed above will be analyzed
* Ability to commit to a basic background and credit check
